Crown Aspinalls is a member only casino and bar/restaurant located on Curzon Street, Mayfair. The premises include two buildings, n. 27 and n. 28 which are grade II listed.
The Clients requirement was to review and improve the existing layout and front/back of house circulation, refurbish the restaurant, the bar and the gaming salons, as well as adding two terraces for smoking at the rear of the buildings.
The idea for the new design was to consolidate the bar and restaurant at ground floor, and all the gaming areas above. This created a natural division in tiers, from a more public environment at the bottom to private/semi-private areas at the higher levels.
The scheme was delivered in July 2018 following a lengthy consultation process at planning and a 1.5 years construction phase during which the business stayed open 24/7.
